Location: Finchley
Salary: Up to £80k plus travel

My client is a well known Main Contractor who are currently looking for a Design Manager to join their division. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that goes above and beyond to provide Residential and Commercial schemes in London.

This will be primarily a site based role with occasional days in the office. The site is in North West London and consists of 600 units.

Role
As Design Manager you will:
Oversee all technical matters including design and approvals
Be responsible for the control of the design process from planning application through to project completion
Lead design team meetings, as well as ensuring that queries are resolved in a timely manner
Provide technical advice on the feasibility of projects

Candidate
Design Managers applying to this role must have:
Prior experience as a design lead on a mixed use / student accommodation scheme
Delivery and action focused, can identify risks and deliver effective solutions with minimal supervision
Effective time management and progress projects against plan
Good knowledge of modern methods of construction
Experience of closing out challenging projects
Knowledge of sectional agreements related to legal completion of residential properties
