What You'll Do:

You will be a key figure in the development of automotive electrical components, driving their lifecycle from conception to integration. This crucial role will involve collaborating closely with suppliers and delineating the component specs. Bridging the gap between suppliers and project teams will be a significant part of your responsibility, ensuring the quality and punctuality of deliverables. Immersing yourself in systems engineering principles, you'll be pivotal in the evolution and integration of components.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the process of capturing and generating requirements, securing stakeholder agreement at every stage.
  • Work as part of a technical systems delivery team.
  • Help define the system for the assigned features to meet the requirements.
  • Work on a comprehensive system model within the Systems Engineering Design V to meet the clients' required features.
  • Conduct quality assessments throughout the design process.
  • Ensure compliance with new regulations, Requirements (GSRII), and ISO26262 (Systems Engineering).

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Experience in an Electrical/Software Systems Engineering role.
  • Experience in systems engineering and/or complex system integration.
  • Practical application experience of UML/SysML from conception to system integration.
  • Proficiency in modelling complex system requirements in Enterprise Architect or an equivalent tool.

It Would Be an Asset If You Also Have:

  • Proficient in designing Electrical/Electronic systems following the systems engineering V development lifecycle.
  • Skilled in creating structured system/control requirements.
  • Understanding of system and software test verification methods.
  • Experience in using Enterprise Architect or an equivalent tool.
  • Ability to create structured use cases.
  • Knowledge of vehicle network architecture and communication.
  • Familiarity with engineering quality tools (Failure Mode Avoidance - FMEA etc).

Skills:

  • Good understanding of the Product Creation and Delivery System Process (PCDS) or equivalent in other automotive manufacturers.
  • Sound knowledge of automotive electrical architectures and protocols, including CAN bus, FlexRay, and Automotive Ethernet.

Education:

Hold a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science, or possess an equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant field.
