My client, a US Law Firm with a friendly culture and growing London presence, are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Advisor to join their HR department on a permanent basis, in their fast-paced London office and HR team of 3.

Salary - £40k-£55k (depending on experience level)

As a Human Resources Advisor / Senior Human Resources Advisor, you will work very closely with an engaging and empowering Senior HR Manager and will deliver a full HR Generalist service, as well as getting involved in variety of specialist HR duties and projects.

Hybrid working - 4 days in office per week, 1 day from home

Key Duties Include:

  • Understanding and advising on recruitment needs. Preparing job specifications, liaising with recruitment agents, conducting interviews and preparing offer paperwork.
  • Manage low-level Employee Relations cases.
  • Providing excellent commercial advice and support to managers and partners on employee relations issues.
  • Reviewing progress and development of new joiners throughout probationary periods.
  • Conducting exit interviews with leavers, seeking feedback to understand any issues or trends.
  • Regularly analysing sickness and absence trends and proactively addressing any issues.
  • Managing the internal HR System, ensuring data is up to date and using to compile data and reports.
  • Actively engage in D&I work, promoting diversity in the workplace.

The Human Resources Advisor / Senior Human Resources Advisor will have a strong understanding of employment law, and employee statutory rights. The right candidate will be commercially aware, have strong attention to detail, accuracy, communication and team working skills. The right candidate will be resilient, with the ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deadlines. They will also be confident, pro-active with strong emotional intelligence.
