  • Position: Specialist Japanese Chef De Partie
  • Employer:Stylish Japanese Restaurant group
  • Location: London
  • Gross OTE salary package : circa£34,000 +(inclshare of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
  • Weekly working hours/days48 hours /5 days
  • Benefits & Entitlements:28 days paid holiday(pro rata) incentives, employers workplace pension,employee care and well being support + more

Your role involves skilful preparation of complex Japanese dishes and specialities specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, and also be engaged in training and supervising of Commi-Chefs and other junior kitchen staff

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -

  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Japanese cuisine
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour

  • Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Able to work well with others
  • Creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence
  • A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual
  • South health and fitness
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Culinary Arts or similar
  • FAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK AT SPEED AND UNDER PRESSURE
