The position is being offered by a large high quality multi-site Japanese restaurant group based in London, known as London`s most exciting and more happening Japanese Ramen and Sushi restaurant brand, often regarded as the Hard Rock of Japanese Ramen and Sushi.

  • Position: Specialist Japanese Chef De Partie
  • Employer:Specialist Japanese Ramen Restaurant group
  • Location: London
  • Gross OTE salary package : circa£40,000 +(inclshare of serv. chge + targeted bonus)
  • Weekly working hours/days48 hours /5 days

Your role involves skilful preparation of complex Japanese dishes and specialties specific to the regional theme of the establishment and its menus. You will be responsible for a series of kitchen operational duties commensurate with job role, and also be engaged in training and supervising of Commi Chefs and other junior kitchen staff

To qualify for selection you must have the following minimum requirements: -

  • Eligibility to live and work in UK
  • Experience in the preparation of authentic high quality Japanese cuisine
  • Technical knowledge of ingredient quality, sourcing, measuring & formulation
  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in this role + min 3 years of prior experience in escalating job roles
  • Relevant Health & Safety credentials and knowledge of HACCP protocols
  • Resident within commutable distance of up to one hour

  • Industrial training in a world renowned culinary/hospitality institute
  • Have an eye for detail
  • Able to work well with others
  • Creative energetic and passionate about delivering culinary excellence
  • A hardworking, fastidious and conscientious individual
  • South health and fitness
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Culinary Arts or similar
  • FAST PACED AND BE ABLE TO WORK AT SPEED AND UNDER PRESSURE
