The General Sales Manager role:
As General Sales Manager, you will be leading and managing a controlled sales process through a team including Assistant Sales Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues. You will oversee regular coaching, robust management and constant customer interaction with first and second facing activity at its heart.
You will serve and support your team to sell new and used vehicles, with a range of add-on products, finance and GAP insurance whilst ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction at all times. You will also manage all sales campaigns and promotions that maximise sales ensuring we uphold the highest ethical standards.
About you:
+ An experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of sales and performance within the motor industry
+ Able to clearly demonstrate your ability to generate impressive results by increasing sales performance, profitability and operating efficiency
+ Strong leadership and people management skills
+ Able to demonstrate that you share our company values
+ Hold a full UK driving licence
+ Eligible to work in the UK
+ Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively and travel (to the training sessions)
+ Highly influential in engaging with others whilst being empathetic and approachable
+ Analytical and insightful, you can interpret sales and centre data and implement appropriate solutions
