Position Overview: As a Project Manager in IT and Business Change, you will play a key role in delivering strategic projects that enhance our operational efficiency, drive innovation, and support our global growth objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and senior management, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery, from initial scoping through to implementation and post-project evaluation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking.
- Drive the execution of IT and business change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate with project teams, ensuring clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any risks or issues that may impact delivery.
- Facilitate effective change management practices, ensuring smooth transition and adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Ensure that all projects comply with industry best practices, corporate governance, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field; Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing IT and business change projects within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with change management processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello).
