Skills and Characteristics:

Empathy: Understand and connect with the emotions and experiences of individuals with dementia.

Observation: Pay attention to subtle cues and changes in behaviour or health.

Communication: Adapt your communication style to suit their needs.

Time Management: Juggle tasks efficiently while providing personalized care.

Adaptability: Be flexible and responsive to changing situations.

Positive Attitude: Maintain optimism and patience.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with clients with Dementia in a care home setting role is required.
  • Compassionate and non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals with Dementia.
  • Nice to have MAPA/PMVA or CPI certificate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and work schedules.
  • Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Must be a UK resident and have the right to work in the UK. We do not offer sponsorships
