Your new role

As a result of significant and continued growth, a Head of Colleagues and Culture, International is required to support the Fund in achieving its strategic ambitions through attracting, developing and retaining diverse talent, and through supporting our global workforce and leaders.

Leading a London and New York based team, the Head of Colleagues and Culture, International is responsible for the management and oversight of all international Colleagues and Culture functions and plays a key role in implementing global growth plans for AustralianSuper. It is a member of the London and International Offices leadership teams, the Colleagues and Culture leadership team, and part of the Fund’s Senior Leader Network.

A key responsibility is to ensure the Fund continues to hire high performing international talent, whilst ensuring that our

culture and values are at the fore of decision making processes.

Selected key responsibilities include:
Contribute to the development and implementation of the Fund’s strategic plans for the workforce build out of International Offices, driving a high performance culture across the Fund and the Colleagues and Culture domain.
Oversee the design and implementation of the international strategic workforce plan.
Build the Colleagues and Culture team capability in the London and New York Offices, both in terms of team management and the Fund’s broader market presence.
Manage responsibility for WHS matters relating to international locations, including the ownership of obligations.
Contribute to, and ensure compliance with, the budget and business plan set for the International Offices and the Colleagues and Culture teams.
Oversight the delivery of relevant people metrics and data to the US and UK boards, management committees/forums and people leaders.
Ensure risk is managed in accordance with the Fund’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including risk identification and management, risk profiling, risk reporting and incident management.
Develop proactive and consultative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure needs are clearly understood, and that services are provided according to agreed service levels, priorities and business plans.

What you’ll need

Culture and performance are key at AustralianSuper and we seek to hire a candidate that will operationalise both of these key objectives into our Ways of Working.

Significant and extensive experience in people and culture (HR) roles, at a senior leadership level, across a range of disciplines, including recruitment, reward, workforce planning, business partnerships, talent management and development.
Extensive experience building talent growth and workforce strategies.
Experience at designing and influencing local market EVPs.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage audiences as well as experience in writing papers for boards and committees.
Exceptional relationship building and influencing skills to drive significant change.
Commercial experience including developing business plans and budget management.
Senior experience at working, and leading teams, across multiple geographies and offices and in a global operating environment/business
