The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.

Benx Facades is a leading supplier of building façade products and systems, ranging from sheathing boards to EWI and rainscreen systems. Due to continued growth in our rainscreen segment, the business is now looking to appoint an experienced Specification Manager for it’s London & South East specification sales activity.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Building successful relationships with leading Architects and main contractor specifiers.
  • Generating, managing, maintaining and converting all new and existing projects and quotes within the specification pipeline
  • Nurturing relationships at all levels via suitable social networking events
  • Working closely with Regional Sales Managers to ensure effective handover of projects at installer quotation stage.


Post holder may also be required to undertake other related duties not listed in this Job Description from time to time according to the needs of the business.


Experience/knowledge required:


  • Proven track record within specification sales, with a demonstrable network of contacts at top London architectural and design practices
  • Experience in specifying facades or other closely related building envelope systems
  • Strong relevant technical knowledge
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with NBS, BIM, and other specification tools
  • Barbour ABI or Glenigan construction lead experience
  • Experience of delivering CPDs to large audiences
