The Food and Beverage Operations Manager will take responsibility for the Food and Beverage team delivering quality 4-star service across a busy hotel operation. You will have a strong focus on people development, customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the bar, restaurant and events spaces, overseeing day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
- Ensure excellent levels of internal and external customer service at all times
- Assist with the design of exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements to your department
- Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
- Develop the food and beverage teams by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising
- Establish targets, SOP’s, policies and procedures required for your department to run effectively and efficiently
- Ensure a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
- Comply with all health and safety regulations
- Report to management regarding sales results and productivity
- Any other duties role may involve
Person Specification:
- 2 years’ experience within a similar role
- Sound knowledge of the hospitality industry and competitors
- Proven track record in a hotel environment operating to 4-star standard, with conference and banqueting experience
- Financial awareness
- Proven track record of the ability to lead a team to achieve sales targets, control of costs and exceptional service delivery
- Extensive Food & Beverage background
