We value our people and strive to provide an excellent experience for our guests. As a key member of our team, you will assist in providing leadership to our Food and Beverage department, ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of our busy operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of Food and Beverage staff to achieve success
  • Assist in the management of food and beverage operations to ensure maximum profit contribution to the hotel
  • Ensure the delivery of Hastings product and service standards
  • Promote a harmonious working environment and treat all staff with respect and dignity
  • Ensure the team is knowledgeable about hotel facilities and services and proactive in selling these to guests
  • Respond to guest complaints and find suitable solutions
  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are implemented and regularly reviewed
  • Manage and motivate employees through effective communication, training, and development
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments and suppliers
  • Ensure the security and safety of the Food and Beverage outlets

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience in Food and Beverage
  • Excellent customer care and organisational skills
  • Good awareness of budgeting and cost control procedures
  • Professional appearance
  • GCSE standard with grades A-C in English and Maths
