Business Development Manager - Retail and Leisure vertical

45-60k basic + 10k realistic 1st year OTE Uncapped + Car allowance + Benefits

About the role:

New Business is the Primary Role of the Business Development Manager.

You will be expected to achieve your annual new business target of £800k invoiced sales, you should be aiming to achieve in excess of £1m worth of new business billed in a year with clients within the Retail & Leisure markets.

You will be required to generate leads either by yourself or through working with the Corporate Account Team. These leads should then be worked with to qualify to prospect level and then convert to spending accounts. Accounts will then be passed to an Account Manager for development.

The Business Development Manager shall be awarded an agreed % of GP £'s as commission on your target accounts and will be required to sell the complete range of products and services.

The Business Development Manager can and should call upon the services of the specialist teams looking after Print, Furniture, Managed Print Services, Workplace and Workwear, where an opportunity warrants their inclusion.

Business Development Manager must ensure that full compliance of the company's chosen reporting tool is adhered to, and it is used to agreed levels including pipeline, opportunities, appointments, performance etc.

We're looking for experienced BDM's with a proven track record building new business pipelines, and securing high value multi-year contracts from corporate clients.
