The brand is rapidly expanding, and we are looking for a Trade Marketing Manager to support this growth.
Role Overview:
The Trade Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving sales growth through effective trade marketing strategies, enhancing product visibility, and ensuring brand consistency across retail channels. The individual will be responsible for executing marketing strategies at a retail level, working closely with both internal teams and external partners to ensure 111SKIN products are optimally positioned in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive trade marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and drive sales across all retail channels across UK & EU
- Plan and execute impactful retail campaigns to enhance brand visibility and consumer engagement, ensuring consistent messaging across touchpoints.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for the brand’s retail presence.
Retail Partnership Management:
- Collaborate with key retail partners, including luxury department stores, e-commerce platforms, and beauty specialists, to implement trade marketing programs that increase brand presence and sales.
- Negotiate and manage joint business plans, ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with both the brand’s and retailer’s goals.
- Provide retail partners with the tools and resources needed to support product launches and promotions.
Promotions & Merchandising:
- Lead the planning and execution of promotional events, in-store displays, product sampling, and other trade activations to drive consumer interest and purchase.
- Oversee the creation and implementation of merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and placement within retail environments.
- Monitor in-store execution to ensure the proper display of materials, adherence to planograms, and brand guidelines.
Sales & Performance Reporting:
- Track, analyse, and report on trade marketing performance, using data to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand performance data, ensuring trade marketing efforts are delivering measurable results.
- Suggest adjustments to strategies based on results and market feedback.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the brand marketing, digital marketing, and product development teams to align on key initiatives, launches, and brand objectives.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure the timely delivery of marketing materials and in-store stock.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to maximize ROI on all initiatives.
- Track spending and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
Key Qualifications:
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or a similar field within the luxury beauty, skincare, or consumer goods sectors.
- Proven experience managing relationships with key retailers and executing marketing strategies that drive sales.
- Experience in developing and executing in-store and online retail campaigns.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of retail environments and consumer behaviour in the beauty or skincare industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Data-driven, with strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and ROI.
Other:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms is a plus.
- Fluency in English (additional language skills are a bonus).
