About Us We are a UK-based organisation specialising in the procurement and export of pharmaceutical products to international markets, with strong distribution networks across Libya, North Africa, and the Middle East. As our export division continues to expand, we are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with solid knowledge of pharmaceutical sourcing and compliance.Role OverviewThe Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and securing pharmaceutical products for export markets. This role requires strong understanding of pharmaceutical suppliers, GDP standards, and export compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSource pharmaceutical products from UK and EU manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and delivery schedules.Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely availability of export stock.Coordinate all documentation required for export, including product registration files, supplier confirmations, and compliance documents.Liaise with manufacturers to obtain brand-owner confirmations and support export registration requirements.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent availability and quality.Support product registration processes for export markets such as Libya.Work closely with the Export, Sales, Logistics, and Compliance teams to ensure smooth end-to-end operations.Monitor pharmaceutical market trends, shortages, and pricing changes.Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and contract files.RequirementsMinimum 5 years’ experience in pharmaceutical procurement, export, or supply chain.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical suppliers and UK/EU market structures.Familiarity with MHRA requirements, GDP standards, and export processes.Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier-management skills.Ability to manage multiple product lines in a fast-paced environment.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.What We OfferCompetitive salary package.Opportunity to work within international pharmaceutical markets.Strong support from an established export, procurement, and compliance team.Career progression within a rapidly expanding organisation.
