We are looking to add a smart, personable individual who has bags of energy, integrity and professionalism to become our Procurement Officer

**Purpose of the Role**:
To receive and process requests for products from the Sale teams, liaise with suppliers and account management. Support the Procurement department in duties and communication to the wider business. Building on existing relationships, both internally andexternally, sourcing of suppliers to ensure sufficient availability and maintain margins.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Receiving and processing stock requests for product display units and overseas supplier products.
- Liaising with suppliers and communicating to the business on orders, aiming to achieve optimum timescales while managing margins.
- Ensuring prompt responses on requests, keeping within business SLA’s.
- Developing relationships with suppliers, particularly focused on an effective and uninterrupted supply chain. Including account management to report on supplier performance.
- Maintaining all internal boards with accurate and clean updates.
- Managing buffers for key stock and components required for forecast orders.
- Calculating, proposing and placing orders for selected product types.
- Raising and managing system PO’s for all orders placed with suppliers.
- Proposing orders and acquiring sign off from Finance
- Processing external finished good PO’s to be booked in and processed within the system where required
- Supporting the department and wider business with maintaining process and working as a team to implement procedures to improve.

- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise a demanding workload to meet business needs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently as well as in a team, setting an example to others, showing awareness of self-representation.
- Comfortable working towards SLA’s and KPI’s to deliver best in class service.
