DescriptionHR Adviser - People Policy Governance 9224 Fixed Term Contract until November 2027 37 hours per week 37280 - 39152per annum Scale I NorwichWe are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Adviser to join our People Policy Governance team to support the development and implementation of our HR employment framework. This includes policy development supporting our pay and recognition strategy project work and other related HR activities.You will work across all areas of the team including policy development reward and recognition auditing freedom of information and subject access as well as providing expert and specialist professional advice and guidance.You will need to be able to deal with people professionally communicating persuasively clearly and concisely. You will have previous experience of research and acting on findings and the ability to cost options and draft reports and policy documents. Attention to detail and the ability to check work or correctness is important as it is vital that records are processed and recorded accurately.Experience of policy development project management reward and recognition and up-to-date employment law knowledge is essential.You will also need a good understanding of the complexities and implications of different employment terms and conditions. The ability to work closely with HR colleagues and other key stakeholders is key including the ability to lead discussions and consultations with relevant Trade Unions.You need previous experience of research and excellent computer skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel) to write reports and update and locate information from large spreadsheets.
