Clinical Services Manager - ImagingHendon Hospital37.5 Hours & PermanentSalary: Up to 55000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)Hendon Hospital in London is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Clinical Services Manager to join their team of staff in theImagingdepartment.This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.Duties of this role include: You develop and manage service delivery within your area of responsibility with a high degree of professionalism ensuring effective deployment utilisation and control of all resources whilst providing a high quality responsive patient-focused service.You contribute to the strategic operational and business development of the hospital.You ensure that high quality responsive Diagnostic Imaging services are delivered to meet the needs of all customers and the business.You develop and maintain professional relationships with Radiologists ensuring clinical expertise matches the specialties of the Hospital and referring clinician needs and ensure sessional use is maximised.You identify and recruit Radiologists in conjunction with the Senior Management Team (SMT) taking opportunities to widen the clinical expertise available in the departments.You formally meet (minimum annual) with Radiologists to discuss department development clinical and operational issues.You oversee the day-to-day operational supervision of Diagnostic Imaging services.You conduct radiographic examinations as an autonomous practitioner and as part of a multi professional team in line with professional & departmental standards.You ensure there are sufficient Radiation Protection Supervisors appointed to cover all modalities in the Diagnostic Imaging Department that their Role Profile is signed their training is up to date and protected time is allocated to ensure their duties are fulfilled.You ensure all work environments are safe and that all local rules and systems of work are observed.You comply with all relevant mandatory training.Applicants should meet the following criteria: Extensive experience working in an acute hospital setting in a Senior Radiographer post or equivalent.Previous experience within a Clinical Lead role.Experience of customer care including interacting with challenging customers/patients and situations.A Degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiography.Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration.Management / supervisory experience within a multi-modality imaging department.Ability to analyse interpret and make recommendations on data specific to the hospital to identify business development opportunities change current practice monitor and influence performance.Knowledge of the healthcare service sector and the systems and processes used.Strategic awareness with an ability to understand the commercial perspective of healthcare delivery.Recruitment and selection skills.Salary & BenefitsCircle Health Group is committed to offering competitive starting salaries and access to a wide range of employee benefits including:25 days holiday per year bank holidays increasing to 30 days with serviceManagement Bonus SchemePrivate Pension SchemePrivate Healthcare Scheme for treatment at our hospitals covering pre-existing medical conditionsFriends & Family Hospital DiscountsFamily Friendly policies including enhanced Maternity Paternity & Adoption payNon-contributory life insuranceStaff engagement hub with access to discounts and extensive rewards and voluntary benefitsAccess to resources tools and services to support your wellbeingEmployee recognition programmesIndustry leading training and development opportunitiesand much moreCircle Health Group is committed to creating a diverse workforce offering inclusive opportunities for all our colleagues.
