Youll be part of the HR Business Commercial team and report to the Head of Global HR Commercial with a dotted line to the Managing Director of Polestar UK. The role is based in Bicester UK. We recognizing the value of in-person collaboration and have a 3 days a week in the office Policy but what matters most is having the time tools and trust to get things done and to enjoy doing them.Let us describe the challenge we offerAs an HR Business Partner youll play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business goals across local markets. Youll partner with leadership teams to drive workforce planning performance management and cultural initiatives ensuring a high-performing and engaged workforce. This role is pivotal in supporting organizational change and growth while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.What you will doYour main role is to act as a trusted advisor to local leadership teams and ensure HR processes and programs are implemented effectively.Key responsibilities include: Business Partnership: Partner with coach and advise Managing Directors and local leadership teams throughout the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to development performance management and exits. Translate HR strategy into actionable local plans and lead their execution. People Operations & Execution: Implement regional and global HR processes (recruitment onboarding mentorship programs) and ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies. Talent & Culture: Deliver local implementation of talent programs cultural initiatives and change management. Escalate local needs or trends to the Head of Global HR Commercial. Data & Reporting: Collect and analyze HR data to provide insights to local management maintain HR systems and organizational charts and ensure accurate employee data for informed decision-making.Who you areTo thrive in this role (and at Polestar) you are structured proactive and solution-oriented. You bring strong HR expertise excellent communication skills and experience in supporting managers through organizational transitions.We also believe you have: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or a related field. 27 years of experience in a similar HR function. Experience in change management and organizational development. Strong knowledge of HR principles labor law and best practices.At Polestar you will be part of a cross-functional and international team with English as a natural language for written and spoken communication.
