**ABOUT THE ROLE **

Are you an HR professional with a “roll your sleeves up” attitude? Do you thrive on delivering continuous improvement both around processes, but also around customer and employee experience?

Then have a look at this opportunity in our HR Operations team. The team influences every aspect of the employee lifecycle; we enable our managers and our people, by designing and implementing intuitive HR processes that drive efficiency, automation, andself-service.?

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will focus on providing HR support for 2nd line operational queries, employee advice and guidance, as well as delivering proactive support to our management community.You will help drive employee and managerself-service through coaching and you’ll support the development of our HR systems capability.?

There’s a lot to get stuck into, but you will be surrounded by a wider supportive and skilled HR team. We work in an agile way to flex and pull together to deliver exceptional service and people experiences.??

**WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING**

You will develop strong working relationships with our management group and the People & OD Partner to focus on these key areas:
**2nd Line Support, Advice & Guidance?**
- Using policies and supporting documentation, provide coaching and guidance on how to approach employee relations cases including performance, sickness absence, conduct and grievances. Escalating complex queries to HR Ops Manager and HRBP?
- Provide HR consultative support and coaching to management community to ensure their capability is exceptional in dealing with all people related matters?
- Work in partnership with the business to deliver effective and timely organisational change
- Support development and maintenance of HR SharePoint pages and content to enable and drive self-service.?

**HR Policy & Process Development**
- Support the development and continuous review and development of HR Policies ensuring policies are fit for purpose and where required, legally compliant for all employees?
- Develop supporting documents, resources, workflows, how to guides for policies to enable greater self-service for employees and managers?
- Support development and maintenance of HR SharePoint pages and content to clearly communicate policy and procedures?

**HR Operations Service Provision**
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with GDPR and other data protection legislation (UK and overseas) with appropriate document control
- As required, produce change of contract documentation as directed and ensure that sign copies are received, and copies filed.
- Support wider HR Operations Team with BAU tasks including onboarding, reporting and offboarding processes
- Ensure all HR communication channels are supported with the most recent documentation
- Support initiatives and processes, driving positive change within the business, including Ways of Working, diversity and inclusion, engagement, wellbeing, reward and recognition

We’re looking for someone who is bold and keen to drive change. Someone who can inject new ways of thinking. You’ll have great organisation and interpersonal skills, demonstrable assertiveness, and you’ll bring the ability to work with agility.

You'll also have:

- Prior experience working in a HR environment supporting second-line level queries from employees and line managers to create a self-service driven environment?
- Excellent assertive interpersonal and influencing skills with a background in collaborating with and coaching line managers, building their competence and confidence to enable them to effectively lead their teams.?
- Experience of generating and delivering reporting and analytics (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel)?
- Has previously led and been key support to key activities e.g., Performance Review / Pay Review / Engagement Surveys and post survey action planning?
- Experience working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee experience through process improvements, automation, data, and insights.?
- Experience of using and developing HR Systems to improve efficiency through automation would be desirable??
- Experience of developing and administering apprenticeship schemes would be a distinct advantage?
