Position: Key Account Manager
Responsibilities
- Focuses on managing and growing strategic, high-value accounts. The goal is to maximize revenue, cross-sell/up-sell, and build long-term partnerships.
- Maintain effective communication with VPs, Sales and internal departments to ensure corporate objectives are met.
- Planning budgets and activities for company account management.
- Gain a deep understanding of the partners’ needs and what they expect from our company
- Setting up goals and objectives for all subordinate staff.
- Providing feedback and counsel to account staff to meet quotas/objectives.
- Plan budgets and activities for company account management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to management
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and agreements with key accounts
- Monitor and analyze key account metrics to measure performance and identify areas for growth
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, top 5 university.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in account management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in ground transportation, travel, logistics, or related industry.
- Solid understanding of budgeting and reporting on progress
- Knowledge of performance evaluation techniques and metrics
- Proven experience with ground transportation/online tourism company 5 years minimum
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Proven of Annually sales 30M USD+
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Result and data-driven oriented.
- Ground transportation prior experience is preferable.
