Your new companyHays are working with a growing Manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking for an Office Manager on a permanent basis. This is an exciting role due to growth.Your new roleAs an Office Manager your role will involve:
- Monitor and evaluate practice performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and management systems.
- Prepare regular reports on practice performance & operational metrics.
- Identify opportunities to increase practice profitability, optimise revenue streams, and control costs.
- Manufacturing output and delivery
- Drive shift performance and improve shifts
- Leading improvements, development, and investments
- Ensuring quality and right first time
- Communicate with customers on all production queries.
- Member of the Senior leadership team reporting into the Director and General Manager
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and protocols to optimise practice efficiency.
- Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices while ensuring quality standards.
What you'll need to succeedIn order to be considered for this role you will need experience in the following:
- Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
