Are you a meticulous finance professional looking for a role where you can truly make an impact? We're working with an innovative design company based in the heart of Winchester, seeking a Management Accountant to take the reins of their finance function. With flexible working hours, free parking, and a Christmas shutdown, this is an opportunity to join a supportive team that values both sustainability and its people.Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for:
  • Taking full ownership of the finance function, ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations
  • Preparing detailed reports for the board, providing critical insights
  • Business partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver strategic financial advice
  • Developing ad hoc analysis to support the business
  • Managing the monthly payroll process from start to finish
  • Producing comprehensive management account packs
  • Preparing year-end accounts
What you will need:
  • To be qualified or part-qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as: Management Accountant / Finance Manager / Financial Controller / Group Finance Manager / Group Financial Controller / Assistant Finance Manager / Assistant Financial Controller / Finance Operations Manager
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Confidence to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting software.
