Junior Communications Officer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Communications Officer to join our team on a full time, permanent basis.
The role comes with a competitive salary, starting at £26,421 per annum (depending upon experience). The closing date for this role is 13th August at 9am.
The ideal candidate will be collaborative and creative, a detail-oriented content creator and digitally savvy.
Key Responsibilities of our Junior Communication Officer:
- You’ll support the development and delivery of impactful communications plans and campaigns. Your ability to create engaging content across various channels will be essential.
- You’ll craft press releases, manage newsletters, write marketing copy, schedule social media messages, and contribute to our website. Proven experience in writing for diverse communication channels is crucial.
- Your familiarity with social media channels, digital campaigning, and analytics tools will enable you to track engagement metrics effectively.
What we are looking for in our Junior Communication Officer:
- Two to three years’ experience working in communications or public affairs
- Ability to create clear, concise, and compelling messages for various audiences.
- Knowledge of website, social media, and newsletter content management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Previous involvement in maintaining website content or utilising content management systems.
