Position Overview: Due to ongoing growth, Cityscape is seeking a Junior Procurement Associate to support the procurement team in collecting, analyzing, and submitting material pricing for tender proposals, as well as managing purchases for active projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the procurement team during the tender phase by soliciting material price quotes from potential suppliers and evaluating their responses.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with suppliers.
- Support the procurement team during live project phases by communicating with suppliers who provided quotes during the tender phase to negotiate and advance quotations, aiming to secure optimal value for the organization.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess a HNC or degree in a civil engineering-related field and reside within a reasonable commuting distance, as the role is office-based.
Skills Required: This is an entry-level position; prior experience in procurement is not mandatory. However, candidates must demonstrate teamwork, excellent organizational abilities, clear communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with Access and SharePoint is advantageous but not essential.
