This role is ideal for a professional Project Manager with extensive experience in managing domestic and residential sprinkler projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from initial award to final handover, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from award to handover stage, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Coordinate closely with clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Oversee installation works on-site, ensuring adherence to project time-lines and quality standards.
  • Attend regular site meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and provide updates.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Produce detailed project-specific reports, documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and profitability.
  • Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
  • Resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team.


Experience and Skills Needed:

  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within the sprinkler systems industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic and residential sprinkler systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant sprinkler suppression standards, particularly BS 9251:2021.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in producing detailed project reports and documentation.
  • Commitment to health and safety regulations and best practices.
