This role is ideal for a professional Project Manager with extensive experience in managing domestic and residential sprinkler projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, from initial award to final handover, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from award to handover stage, ensuring timely and successful completion.
- Coordinate closely with clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Oversee installation works on-site, ensuring adherence to project time-lines and quality standards.
- Attend regular site meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and provide updates.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
- Produce detailed project-specific reports, documenting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and profitability.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team.
Experience and Skills Needed:
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar role within the sprinkler systems industry.
- In-depth knowledge of domestic and residential sprinkler systems.
- Familiarity with relevant sprinkler suppression standards, particularly BS 9251:2021.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Valid driving license.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues.
- Proficiency in producing detailed project reports and documentation.
- Commitment to health and safety regulations and best practices.
