Sales Development Representative

Role Overview
We’re seeking a proactive Sales Executive to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of licenses for our compliance-focused SaaS product. As the face of our solution to clients, you’ll play a crucial role in helping organizations understand the value of streamlined compliance. This position requires a balance of strong sales acumen, relationship-building skills, and an understanding of the cybersecurity compliance landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets for our compliance software licenses.
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted industries and market segments.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Product Demonstrations: Deliver engaging product demos, showcasing unique features such as one-click compliance, comprehensive reporting, and task automation.
- Market Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, cybersecurity compliance standards, and competitor offerings to effectively position the product in the market.
- Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales activities and achievements, providing regular updates to senior leadership.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, customer success, and product development teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and timely feedback.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven Sales Experience: 2+ years in a sales role, ideally within the technology or cybersecurity industry.
- Strong Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage clients and deliver compelling product pitches.
- Target-Driven: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity compliance frameworks (e.g., Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001) is an advantage.
- Tech-Savvy: Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical product features and benefits.
- Self-Motivated and Organised: Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently to drive sales outcomes.
