Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and Deployment: Lead the design, build, and deployment of changes within PMO functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Requirements Documentation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to document requirements and develop strategies for deploying change effectively.
  • Demand Management: Utilize your deep understanding of demand management processes, technologies, and best practices to improve and streamline operations.
  • Change Management: Develop and execute comprehensive plans to support change, including the creation of roadmaps, detailed action plans, and communication strategies.
  • Budgeting and Business Cases: Build budgets and business cases to support change initiatives, ensuring financial viability and alignment with project goals.
  • Operational Reporting: Ensure that operational reports are in place to monitor and manage PMO functions effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders across the business to gain support and buy-in for change initiatives, ensuring successful implementation.


Example Activities:


  • Develop and execute an action plan to deploy a single demand and capacity management solution, including people, processes, and tools.
  • Capture requirements to extend shared services PMO duties to business units, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
  • Engage with business units to advocate for and facilitate the deployment of new solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to understand their interaction model and how they will receive and manage demand.
  • Apply your understanding of project financial management processes to link PMO activities with financial tracking and benefits realization.


Experience / Skills Required:


  • Demonstrable experience in designing, building, and deploying changes within PMO functions.
  • Proven ability to work with business stakeholders to document requirements and develop deployment plans.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow (SNOW) functionality.
  • In-depth knowledge of demand management processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with the technologies used for demand management and PMO operations.
  • Experience in building budgets and business cases to support change initiatives.
  • Understanding of the operational reports required to run an effective PMO.
  • Experience in developing roadmaps and detailed plans to support transformational change.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to obtain support and buy-in across the business.
