We are looking for a Repairs Helpdesk Administrator with a strong background in customer service and experience in a similar role within a Residential Social Landlord (RSL), local authority, or main contractor. This role is essential in supporting the residential team to deliver a comprehensive property maintenance service.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Be the first point of contact for all administration supporting the residential team.
  • Facilitate the delivery of planned, programmed, reactive, and other property maintenance works.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review a list of approved contractors for various maintenance works and appoint contractors for specific tasks.
  • Liaise with customers regarding property-related matters and place orders for works using a bespoke computerised order system.
  • Ensure contractors are promptly and properly instructed and maintain records of all works undertaken.
  • Assist in the payment process for all property-related invoices.
  • Order and administer scheme-related requirements.
  • Assist in the management and processing of communal buildings insurance claims.
  • Carry out additional administration and record-keeping for the department as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a repairs helpdesk role with an RSL, local authority, or main contractor will consider candidates with a strong customer service background
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in using computerised order systems.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
