About the role

We are looking for a talented and ambitious Marketing Assistant who has an interest in digital marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the Marketing team to develop a core marketing skillset. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate creative and analytical abilities. There will be opportunities to get involved in larger marketing campaigns, gain experience in analysis and reporting, curate content for Oryon’s social media accounts and write copy for the website that resonates with key audiences.


Responsibilities

  • Curate and schedule content to post on all of Oryon’s social media channels.
  • Work with the Marketing team to monitor social media accounts and engage with key audiences to raise awareness of Oryon’s services.
  • Write copy for marketing emails, website content, social media and Oryon’s internal newsletter.
  • Assist Marketing team with ongoing B2B and B2C marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in planning, organising and promoting networking events or webinars.
  • Assist the Marketing team in managing and optimising the company’s website, ensuring best SEO practice is followed.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
  • Assist with ad hoc marketing, technology and innovation tasks.
  • Stock take of print and organising collateral.

  • Excellent communicator and a team spirit.
  • Excellent copy writing skills.
  • Experience with WordPress is desirable.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is desirable.
  • Strong commitment to quality and standards.
  • Interest in private healthcare.
  • A bachelors degree in marketing, communications or a related field is desirable.

As this is a new and evolving role, we reserve the right to amend the job description and objectives, in accordance with the potential future requirements of Oryon. Candidates should be available to start immediately (or from up to 4 weeks from the date of application) and work full time. The successful candidate will gain a broad range of marketing experience with the intention of building a career in Healthcare / Marketing.
