DescriptionGrade UE05: 29588 to 33951 per annumCAHSS / School of History Classics and ArchaeologyGuaranteed Hours: 200 hours per periodFixed-term: 46 monthsThe Opportunity:This post is guaranteed hours and fixed term until 31st August 2029.The guaranteed hours periods are: 1st November 2025- 31st August 2026 1st September 2026-31st August 20271st September 2027- 31st August 2028 and 1st September 2028- 31st August 2029.We anticipate a minimum of 200 hours each period. This will be confirmed yearly in writing.For the period 1st November 2025 to 31st August 2026 this post is guaranteed 200 hours.You will play a key role in supporting as Project Administrator the research project Class Struggle in Ancient Greek Democracy a major ERC Consolidator Grant funded through the guarantee and held in the School of History Classics and Archaeology. The project involves a rich programme of academic and public activities including conferences workshops and events as well as maintaining an up-to-date website to showcase project progress and outcomes.In this part-time role you will assist the Principal Investigator (Professor Mirko Canevaro) and his team with the smooth running of the project helping to organise events co-ordinate communications and ensure the projects online presence is current and engaging. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-profile international research project while developing your skills in project administration event organisation website management and academic communication.The annual salary is at Grade UE05: 29588 - 33951 (based on full-time employment).
