As the Facilities Management Senior Lead, you will oversee the facilities management team within the Birmingham Workplace Operations Regional Team. You will have day to day accountability and responsibility for all FM related requirements in the high-profile Government Hub of 3 Arena Central and the Region's Specialist Sites in Telford.

We are looking for you to proactively take the lead in managing our supplier relationships, delivering services in line with our agreed contract performance levels. This can include and evolve into supporting the development of our customer focused services.

Crucial to the success of our Estates team, are our people. As an FM Regional Lead we need you to provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to your team, whilst ensuring a collaborative and joined up approach with the rest of the Birmingham Estates team and wider Estates business operations.

Job description
This is a key role within the Estates operating model, managing the delivery of facilities management for both Hard and Soft FM Services across the Region's buildings. You will act as deputy to the G7 Head of Estates (HoE) as required and provide assurances on their behalf including:

Leading in delivering proactive supplier relationship management to deliver services in line with agreed contract performance levels and customer requirements.
Ensuring all statutory and non-statutory planned maintenance is completed in line with SLAs and SFG20 and associated KPIs are met.
Ensuring all reactive and PPM remedial works are completed within SLAs.
Support the development/evolution of our customer focused services.
Take the lead to manage contractor delivery in the Regional Centre whilst ensuring robust management of performance on legacy contracts across the estate.
Review and report on supplier performance to the Head of Workplace Operations and Area FM Team, acting to drive continuous improvement.
Provide leadership and direction to your team, whilst ensuring a collaborative and joined up approach with the rest of the onsite Workplace Operations Team and the wider Estates business operation.
Ensure provision of high quality and consistent communications with customers and key stakeholders
Oversee day to day performance to ensure the successful delivery of services to a changing portfolio of properties across the region.
Participate in an on-call rota to provide out of hours emergency advice and cover.


Person specification
As our Regional FM Delivery Lead, we are looking for you to bring excellent organisation and communication skills to this fast-moving role, managing multiple deadlines and ensuring objectives are delivered.

We want your confidence to shine through as you engage with strong-minded stakeholders across the business, maintaining and developing key relationships. Essential Criteria

Up to 2 years previous experience within a facilities management / contract management function
Clear demonstration of FM Skills in both meeting customer needs and managing supplier relationships
Experience in Contract/Supplier Management
Demonstration of strong customer relationship management and customer service ethos
Understanding key performance related schedules within contracts including assurance of KPIs/SLAs and SFG 20.
Line management experience

If not already held, you must be willing to obtain IWIFM Certificate Level 4 or equivalent within 24 months of take up duty.
