Job Title: Regional Facilities Manager

About the Role:

The Regional Facilities Manager will be responsible for leading the technical teams in the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on maintaining good working relationships with clients and technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of technicians and supervisors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Provide technical support and coaching to supervisors and technicians.
  • Ensure all sites are covered on a 24/7 basis to deliver both reactive and planned maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Manage and maintain all necessary tools and equipment to deliver services.
  • Support the Divisional Manager on technical, people, and FM process issues.
  • Provide cover for the Divisional Manager during times of absence, holidays, and meetings.
  • Complete specified reports and compliance documentation.

Requirements:

  • Recognised technical background with experience in hard FM.
  • Ideally NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/maintenance.
  • Strong PC literacy, with experience in extracting, collating, and presenting performance data.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation, and project management skills.
  • Strong results focus, takes accountability for own performance and that of the team.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Highly flexible and self-starting.
  • Experience in managing financial budgets.
