About Us:
Soccerverse is a new multiplayer, community-driven, and community-owned football management simulator and trading game developed by one of the original creators of Soccer Manager alongside a team which has pioneered Blockchain gaming since 2013.
Our first game, the eponymously named Soccerverse, is in the final stages of development before release later this year. We have an ambitious plan for growth and product development and are actively seeking the finest squad members to join our growing team.
Role Overview:
As Product Manager, you will co-develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for Soccerverse. Your work will be crucial in building awareness, driving engagement, and ensuring the game's commercial success. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Soccerverse's growth and to shape the future of sports gaming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan for Soccerverse, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies, alongside our CMO.
- Collaborate with the development team to deeply understand the game's features, target audience, and competitive landscape.
- Lead the creation of compelling marketing materials, including trailers, social media content, and promotional assets, that accurately convey the game's essence and appeal to the target audience.
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels (social media, referrals, ads) to drive game sign-ups and season by season engagement.
- Work with a roster of real-world football licenses to maximise visibility and ROI.
- Analyse market trends, player feedback and game data to inform future marketing strategies and game development updates.
- Work closely with our PR agency to manage media relations and secure coverage in gaming publications, blogs, and other relevant outlets.
- Coordinate with influencers and content creators to amplify the game's reach and foster a strong community of fans and advocates.
- Manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve maximum ROI.
Qualifications:
- At least three years of proven experience in product marketing, preferably within the video game or sporting industries.
- A personal passion for football, football management games and gaming in general.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with market research, audience targeting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Creative thinker with a track record of executing innovative marketing campaigns.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools, platforms, social media trends, and best practices.
