You will be working on marketing content and channels at the heart of government. This is an exciting time to join the team as we roll-out a new brand strategy grow our digital expertise and build on our multi-disciplinary ways of working across the team.Key Accountabilities:Support development and delivery of innovative and creative multi-channel marketing activityUse data and insight to develop data-led content and channel plans with measurable objectives and key performance indicatorsDevelop creative content that increases brand awareness and generates high levels of audience engagementLeverage the latest digital marketing tools and techniques including marketing automation and Artificial Intelligence (AI)Support the optimisation of digital channels including email and social mediaWork collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including marketing agencies to inform content and planningApply the principles policies and practices of Government Communications Service to a high professional standardEssential Criteria (to be assessed at application stage):Excellent understanding and experience of using digital channels and tools including email and social media Able to develop strong productive relationships at all levels inside and outside of the organisation to achieve business objectivesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex propositions simply and adapt style to the audience and channel Experience of using data and insight to monitor and improve performance of marketing activityDesirable Criteria:Experience of working in a marketing role in a public sector or government environmentIn the event of a high number of applications the desirable will be used as a second sift.Success Profiles (to be assessed at interview):You will be assessed against the following Behaviours:Seeing the bigger pictureCommunicating and influencingWorking togetherDelivering at paceYou will also be assessed against Experience. Successful candidates are expected to work from one of the office locations listed. Our current office attendance approach requires a minimum of 26 days per quarter (approx 2 days per week which may be subject to change) in CCS office locations or off site meetings with suppliers customers partners networking / industry events. This is pro rata for those who work part time.
