We are looking for an Assistant to join the Real Estate Team based in the Darlington Regional Office. In fulfilling their duties, the Assistant must be able to manage a full and varied workload.  The role demands a proactive and positive attitude, teamwork, high attention to detail, meticulous organisation and effective time management as well as the drive to deliver quality.

  • Track and Manage project fees
  •  Process invoices efficiently and accurately
  • Log, review and manage various documents, including tenders and contracts
  • Continually identify opportunities to improve processes and practices
  • Implement and embed improvements to optimise efficiency
  • Provide organisational and administrative support as required
  • Collate, manipulate and analyse data utilising excel for reporting
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and stakeholders

About You

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
  • Maintains accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks, ensuring high-quality outcomes
  • Continually seeks to understand and improve operational processes
  • Maintains a positive attitude and a proactive approach, even under pressure
  • Effectively manages time and prioritises tasks to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Takes personal responsibility for resolving queries and issues
  • Proven ability to work on own initiative and with a wider team
  • Microsoft office skills (particularly excel, Word and Outlook)
  • SAP / Ariba knowledge
  • Experience in invoice control
  • Prior project administration experience

Desirable:

  • Construction or Real Estate experience
  • Proven project planning and execution
  • Experience in managing Final Accounts and Capital allowances
  • Construction, accounting or financial qualification
