Senior Commercial Manager - Valuations and Consulting needed at my Aviation Analytics client in LONDON. Hybrid 2 - 3 days in office. GBP 80k base plus commission.


Reporting to the Director – Valuations and Consulting, this role specifically focuses on developing and delivering the Valuations and Consulting sales strategy, in line with the overall revenue budget.


Job Requirements & Responsibilities

• Works closely with Heads of Department, Senior Project Coordinator and members of the Valuations and Consulting team to promote and sell the firm's products and services.

• To develop new business and revenue in line with Valuations and Consulting budget/forecast and individual targets.

• To strive individually and as a member of the collective VAC team to achieve the annual revenue and profitability targets and to deliver the best possible quality of earnings through the generation of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) by means of subscriptions and / or recurring business, combined with the optimal margins for each respective product / service line.

• Spot opportunities for the firm's Analytics Platform and work with the Digital Sales Team to win new clients.

• Win and manage new accounts and relationships, acting as principle point of contact for these new clients.

• Prepare and submit (and where necessary present) high-quality proposals, tender and RFP responses in a timely and efficient manner.

• Contribute to product and service development by feedback to the production teams on client, industry and market requirements.

• Provide accurate, up-to-date and detailed management information on sales activity, pipeline and revenue targets using the company Salesforce.com CRM system.

• Work closely with Finance and Administration functions to ensure contracts, invoicing and sales processes are seamless and efficient.

• Monitor industry development’s, including legislative changes, tender processes and reactive changes.

• Attend and represent the Company at industry conferences and events.

• Work with multiple business units to identify cross-selling opportunities and synergies.

• Developing new contacts and business.

• Contributes to positive department and company culture.

• Ensures prompt and timely responses to client queries.

• Liaising with existing staff members, Directors, HoDs, Team Leaders, managers, supervisors, and clients to achieve set goals.

Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of aviation finance, including exposure to the valuations and appraisal process and aircraft leasing and remarketing sectors.

• Knowledge of the commercial aircraft, engine, helicopter, business jet markets and after markets.

• Knowledge and understanding of ESG, Airline Risk and aviation Market Dynamics.

• Strong commercial acumen and self motivated to achieve high levels of performance.

• Experience in selling professional services and Software subscriptions.

• Flexible and prepared for the dynamics of a fast-growing private equity backed business.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to win, negotiate and manage new contracts and partnerships.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentational skills.

• Contributes to a culture of high performing teams, with continual personal development and strong leadership capability.
