Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Manager to join our team in our Merchanting Division at Lords Group Trading, a leading group of builders merchants. The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth, enhance brand visibility, and support sales initiatives across our network of merchants. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement marketing strategies across multiple brands, that align with business goals and objectives, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.

Campaign Management: Oversee the creation, execution, and optimisation of multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, print, events, and partnerships.

Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.

Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the company’s brand image and reputation through strategic initiatives and consistent messaging.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and operations teams to ensure marketing strategies support business objectives and customer needs.

Performance Metrics: Establish KPIs and use analytics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, providing regular reports to senior management.

Digital Marketing: Drive the company’s digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and website optimisation.

Content Creation: Oversee the development of high-quality marketing content, including brochures, flyers, website content, and promotional materials.

Event Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of trade shows, events, and sponsorships to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Klayvio, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of current marketing trends and best practices.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools.
