About the role As Head of Marketing you will be responsible for developing and executing MOOD London’s overall marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and revenue growth. As the Head of the Marketing department, you will strengthen the brand’s presence across retail, online and wholesale channels. You will need to translate the business objectives into actionable marketing plans that drive sales performance and customer loyalty. The role will require working closely with the digital team, brand managers, design, eCommerce, social media, copywriters, PR, and executives, to ensure all marketing campaigns are in alignment with the core brand message. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring the marketing team to foster creativity, innovative campaigns and results-oriented thinking. Key Responsibilities Define and communicate a strong brand identity that conveys the business’s values and sensory experience of its fragrances Determine all aspects of visual identity (packaging, copywriting) Develop seasonal campaigns (product launches, holidays, and exclusive collections) Leading the development of all marketing plans. Ensuring the implementation of effective marketing strategies. Focusing on growing audiences and the uptake for products and services. Collaborating with retail operations, sales managers and senior team members across all departments to uncover insights and create innovative marketing and branding strategies. Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment (ROI). Conducting strategic marketing analysis that will help guide marketing messages. Overseeing social media planning and execution. Consistently identifying new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategising the implementation of plans. Working to continuously ensure the company marketing goals are communicated across the entire organisation and improving the company’s marketing outreach efforts. Ensuring that all current marketing and copyright regulations comply with accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation. Oversee point-of-sale materials, testers, and merchandising guidelines to maintain premium presentation. Plan and implement promotions and loyalty programmes that increase repeat purchase and average transaction value. Develop go-to-market strategies for new fragrance collections or limited editions. Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends in fragrance, fashion, and retail. Manage partnerships with luxury retailers (e.g., Selfridges, Harrods, John Lewis) and ensure consistent brand representation across all points of sale. Build strong relationships with beauty editors, journalists, and fragrance influencers. Organise press events, brand experiences, pop-ups, and customer workshops to elevate brand perception. Manage PR coverage and monitor brand sentiment across media and social platforms. About you To succeed in this role, you will need: A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Advertising, or a Business Management related subject. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or MSc in Marketing or Brand Management) is preferred Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role. Proven success in to developing and implementing successful marketing strategies (brand, digital, CRM, influencer, retail) Experience managing brand positioning, new product launches, and campaign performance analysis. Strong leadership to motivate cross-functional teams and excellent communication to manage stakeholders Background in multi-channel marketing, including e-commerce, retail activations, and social media strategy. Experience working with luxury or beauty brands is highly valued (fragrance, cosmetics, skincare, or fashion) Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics, understanding market trends, and reporting on ROI & P&L and budget management is required Understanding of UK retail landscape, consumer behaviour, and luxury marketing trends. Proficiency in marketing and sales software, such as CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), analytics dashboards, and marketing automation tools Ability to translate creative ideas into measurable business outcomes.
