Company description

Our client is a chemicals manufacturer with facilities across the UK. As they look to further improve HSE process, systems and culture they have a newly created opportunity for a Head of EHS within their team, based in the North of England.


Summary and Purpose

Reporting to the UK General Manager you will take the lead in setting and delivering HSE strategy, ensuring they adhere to standards for a COMAH facility. In addition, to accident investigation, reviewing and updating reports and serving as the contact to regulatory agencies you will ensure the continued positive evolution of HSE culture within the business.


Experience required:

  • A NEBOSH Diploma or Chartered Safety Professional
  • Experience working within COMAH regulated environments a must, with significant understanding of Process Safety, Process Hazards, HAZOP etc
  • Proven track record developing and implementing sustainable HSE improvement within a COMAH environment
