Due to sustained growth, we're looking for our next gem of an employee, a Finance Assistant. 

This role will be fully supporting the Finance Manager under the overall oversight of the Finance Director and Managing Director.

The finance team of TREC processes, reviews and reports to management information in order to support internal decision making and facilitate invoicing, payments and cashflow throughout the year. You will support the Finance Manager in the following:

• General bookkeeping • Bank reconciliations • Creating accounts receivable invoices • Assistance with payroll processing • Tax related work including VAT returns, P11D • Fielding finance related questions from internal and external stakeholders Key skills required:• Previous accounting experience with Xero• Ability to take ownership and responsibility, proactively managing work to completion • Able to effectively cope with the demand of multiple deliverables to execute within a short time period • Strong excel skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data • Excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Part qualified ACCA, CIMA or AAT or working towards an accounting qualification • Good understanding of a finance function end to end I.e. from journals to stakeholder management

3 month contract leading to permanent, part time applications also considered
