Role Overview:

BEAUTY BAY have a fantastic opportunity within our amazing Merchandising Team in the capacity of Merchandise Admin Assistant at BEAUTY BAY Head Office in Exchange Quay, Manchester.


The main aim of a Merchandise Admin Assistant within the BEAUTY BAY Merchandising Team is to support the Merchandising function in order to ensure all relevant stakeholders have accurate data which can directly, proactively and consistently inform decisions relating to maximising profitability, contributing to overall business strategy and growth.


Alongside this, you will be responsible for supporting the Merchandisers to ensure that the Buying function is effectively controlled within the agreed business strategy, and that all necessary frameworks, controls and skill sets are in place to enable the necessary degree of both long term planning and in season trading to maximise business performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Update daily, weekly and ad-hoc reports in line with business needs.
  • Raise and send purchase orders.
  • Maintenance of accurate commitment & order confirmation checking, including cancellations, price changes and amendments to orders.
  • Track details throughout critical path.
  • Reconcile brand invoices with purchase orders.
  • Updating and analysis pricing and promotions.
  • Supporting the merchandising team with general analysis and tasks.


Skills/Experience/Knowledge Needed:

  • Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness within the beauty industry.
  • Able to problem solve & have the ability to multi task.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Able to liaise confidently across all areas of the business and suppliers building key relationships.
  • Highly motivated & have excellent communication skills & a can-do attitude.
  • Able to work independently with integrity.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel Specifically)
