As a Merchandising Administration Assistant, your main role is to provide support to the Merchandising team in all areas of administration and help ensure stock is in the right place to maximise profitability. You will liaise closely with other departments across the business and ensure the sales performance is communicated and support in analysing the sales of your department. You will be integral to the day to day running of the merchandising team, the role is busy and fast paced and you will keep on top of this through high levels of organisation and a great work ethic.

What you'll be doing
- Providing daily administration support to the Merchandising team in all department areas
- Supporting your Assistant Merchandiser to oversee daily intake and ensure purchase orders are updated and accurate
- Flagging any potential issues with current orders to the merchandising team and proposing suitable solutions
- Communicating regularly with suppliers and the warehouse team to ensure orders are running to the deadline and lateness is kept to a minimum
- Takes full responsibility for the Merchandising Admin Assistant Excel trackers, ensuring that these are updated daily

More about you
- Highly analytical and incredibly passionate about numbers
- You have a methodical approach and can use data to measure performance and identify areas of improvement
- Excellent administration skills and systems driven, highly proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
- Able to prioritise multiple deadlines, manage time effectively and balance this with strong attention to detail
- Strong communicator, confident in interacting with lots of different people across the business, as well as external supplier
- Shows initiative and can take ownership of your own work and deliver work to deadlines
- Great team player, able to communicate at all levels across the business and develop solid working relationships
