New Business Development:o Identify and target new business opportunities within the bridging finance marketo Build and maintain a strong network of relationships with key industry stakeholderso Actively prospect and generate new leads, pursuing opportunities through direct sales, referrals, and networkingo Present bridging loan products to potential clients, explaining product benefits and providing tailored solutions to meet their specific financial needs.2. Client Relationship Management:o Develop and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing business opportunities and repeat businesso Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide expert advice, and ensure they receive exceptional service throughout the loan processo Manage the entire process, from initial enquiry to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for clients.3. Market Intelligence & Analysis:o Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify potential opportunities and threats to business growtho Provide insights into the evolving demands of the market, informing the company’s product development and marketing strategieso Report on industry changes, competitor activity, and client needs to senior management to help shape strategic decisions.5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:o Work closely with the underwriting and servicing teams to ensure smooth execution of deals and compliance with internal processes and regulationso Ensure effective communication between departments to ensure clients’ needs are met efficiently and that deals progress seamlessly from enquiry to completiono Assist the underwriting team in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the loan process.6. Sales Target Achievement:o Set and achieve sales targets in line with the company’s growth objectiveso Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales activities, including new client acquisition, loan volume, and business pipeline.o Continuously evaluate sales strategies and adjust approaches to ensure business development goals are met or exceeded.7. Compliance & Risk Management:o Ensure all business practices align with the company’s policies, industry regulations, and ethical standardso Ensure client documentation is complete and accurate, mitigating risks associated with the loan process.Required Skills and Experience:• Experience:o Proven experience in business development in the bridging finance, property finance, or real estate sectorso Strong understanding of bridging loans and the UK property market, including experience working with brokers, developers, and intermediarieso A track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and meeting sales targets.• Skills:o Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with clients and close deals effectivelyo Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities, with an ability to establish trust and credibility quicklyo Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, brokers, and internal teamso High level of financial acumen and product knowledge in bridging financeo Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage a busy and varied workloado Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.• Education:o Professional qualifications such as CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or equivalent would be an advantage• Personal Attributes:o Client-focused and results-driven, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.o Confident, assertive, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.o Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.o Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.• Remuneration:o Basic Salary £50,000 - £75,000 (DOE) - Uncapped Commissiono Car Allowance £6k per annumo Performance-related bonuseso Benefits package including pension and other employee perks.Closing date for applications is Friday 21st November 2025
