IT Project Manager / Business Analyst We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to manage the delivery and enhancement of cloud-based and outsourced IT solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and deliver measurable value. This role combines project management and business analysis responsibilities, focusing on coordinating vendors, defining business requirements, and ensuring successful implementation and adoption of third‑party solutions. Additionally, you will join an organisation actively investing in Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies to automate both routine and complex tasks to increase efficiency, enhance decision‑making and reduce operational risk. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to projects that explore the integration of AI capabilities into business processes and systems. Key Responsibilities Project Management Plan and deliver cloud and SaaS implementation projects from initiation to handover Coordinate activities across internal business stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers Manage vendor deliverables, SLAs, and contract milestones Oversee integrations between new solutions and internal systems (APIs, data flows, single sign‑on) Lead change management, user acceptance testing, and go‑live readiness Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget, following agreed governance Business Analysis Elicit, document, and validate business requirements for new or enhanced cloud solutions Translate business requirements into vendor‑facing specifications or configuration instructions Assess and recommend suitable SaaS or cloud products based on functional fit and cost‑effectiveness Facilitate vendor selection, RFP/RFI processes, and evaluation workshops Support data migration, configuration, and integration activities Develop business process documentation and support end‑user training Vendor & Stakeholder Management Act as the main point of contact between the business and external technology providers Negotiate timelines, priorities, and deliverables with vendors Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and elevate issues as needed Build relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure effective solution adoptionManage communication between IT governance and outsourced service partners Governance, Compliance & Reporting Maintain project documentation, risk logs, and change records Ensure solutions comply with IT security, data protection, and regulatory standards Contribute to IT governance, procurement, and vendor review processes Report regularly on project progress, issues, and risks to senior management Emerging Technology & AI Enablement Contribute to the identification and delivery of opportunities to apply Generative AI and Agentic AI tools across business and operational processes Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology partners to assess potential use cases for AI adoption and automation Support the implementation of AI‑driven solutions within cloud or SaaS ecosystems Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, particularly around AI and digital transformation trends, and share insights to inform the firm’s technology roadmap Professional Experience Essential Skills & Experience Demonstrable track record of managing the delivery of SaaS or cloud‑based business systems within an Investment Management client Strong background in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and stakeholder engagement Experience coordinating multiple third parties and internal stakeholders Excellent vendor and contract management skills; knowledge of procurement and vendor evaluation processes Understanding of cloud solution principles (e.g., SaaS, PaaS, integrations, APIs) Familiarity with IT governance, security, and compliance considerations in cloud environments Interest in exploring how AI can increase efficiency, enhance decision‑making, and reduce operational risk Education & Qualifications Project management certifications (PRINCE2, Agile PM, PMP) or BA qualifications (BCS, IIBA) Personal Attributes Strong communication and documentation skills Effective influencer with gravitas and presence Highly organised and detail‑oriented Results‑driven with exceptional multi‑tasking abilities Desirable Experience Experience with one or more of the following enterprise cloud systems: Anaplan, DealCloud, Workiva, Alteryx or Microsoft 365 Basic familiarity with technologies that underpin an enterprise data platform built using Microsoft Azure technologies (Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Purview, Power BI) Awareness or experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, or automation technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, AI workflow tools) Prior experience in Investment Management (ideally Private Markets) and/or financial services Experience working within regulated or data‑sensitive sectors Degree‑level education or equivalent in IT, computer science, business or related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
