Job Overview
The NCA Team Leader is responsible for leading and supporting a team of National Course Advisors (NCAs) across SAE and ICMP, contributing directly to student recruitment activities while overseeing the integration and performance of the unified team. This role combines daily NCA duties with leadership responsibilities, including training, onboarding, workflow management, and setting quality standards. The NCA Team Leader plays a pivotal role in ensuring excellent service delivery throughout the student recruitment journey, fostering strong professional relationships with prospective students and their families, and reducing attrition during the application-to-enrolment phase.
A key focus of this role is to design and implement effective onboarding and continuous training programs for new and existing NCAs, ensuring all team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge required to achieve recruitment goals and provide a high-quality experience.
Team Leader Responsibilities
- Leadership and Support: Provide daily guidance to the NCA team, addressing queries, troubleshooting issues, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Training and Development: Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive training programs for all NCAs, focusing on call handling, relationship-building techniques, CRM proficiency, and other key recruitment skills.
- Deliver ongoing training sessions to ensure all NCAs remain updated on new processes, policies, and market trends.
- Onboarding:
- Design and manage a structured onboarding program for new NCAs, including system training, process familiarisation, and role-specific guidance.
- Serve as a mentor to new NCAs, providing initial oversight and support as they transition into their roles.
- Quality Assurance: Review and assess team interactions (e.g., call monitoring, CRM entries) to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met; provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Workload and Workflow Management: Oversee daily call and task allocation to ensure equitable distribution and efficient workflow across the team.
- Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team performance metrics, addressing underperformance and celebrating successes to maintain motivation.
- Knowledge Sharing: Act as a central point of knowledge within the team, sharing updates, best practices, and insights to drive team success.
