Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Fabric Engineer ​​​​​to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.We are looking for a Fabric Engineer ​​​​​who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.As the Fabric Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.The Fabric Engineer, will be responsible for: * Repairs and maintenance to building fabric * Minor repair and maintenance of tiling, walls and ceiling * Remedial minor building works following PPM activities completed by other service lines * Fire Door inspections and repairs * Painting and decorating projects (as and when required) * Flooring repair and new installations * Basic plumbing repairs * Basic plastering * Stock management of site consumables * Support collecting of deliveries as required * Relocation or removal of furniture * Hosting of subcontractors * Flexibility to work out of hours and at weekends * Support a call-out rotaTo be successful for this Fabric Engineer ​​​​​​ role you must have: * Preferred qualification to a C&G or NVQ in a fabric trade like roofing, tiling, etc. * Previous experience of working as a fabric technician * Strong customer service experience * Ability to be proactive and identify opportunities * Experience of PDA or IPAD technology for reporting and completion of jobs is essential, as this forms part of the process to complete and sign off each job.If you feel you have the necessary skills set and experience to perform this Fabric Engineer ​​​​​​role, and you are interested in an opportunity offering unparalleled career development, please apply now
