Job Overview

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is a leading company in the field of nuclear energy and advanced technologies. We are currently seeking an Advanced Machining Technician to join our team through our four-year apprenticeship program.

About the Program:

  • The apprenticeship program will provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field of engineering
  • You will study for a BTEC/equivalent technical certificate on day release at the local training provider, with practical training delivered on site at Springfields in our engineering academy
  • You will work in a variety of site locations, completing a Machining Technician Apprenticeship and covering modules such as Plan and prepare sequence for the machining activities, ensuring accuracy to specifications
  • You will start a specialized training program over four years, progressing to show your competency in machining skills to complete your apprenticeship and preparing for your final assessment

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
