We are recruiting for a fabric maintenance handyperson to cover PPM and reactive maintenance on a prestigious facility in the Ribble Valley area. The fabric maintenance handyperson will be responsible for general repairs, compliance checks, fabric maintenance and stock management. The role is a permanent position paying up to 33k basic. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week Flexible start and finish times. On-call TBC. Parking on site

Fabric Maintenance Handyperson Description:
Provide general maintenance to the facility including:LampingFabric maintenanceBasic plumbing, patch plastering, patch painting etc.
Completing compliance checks, emergency lighting, tap temps etc.
Assisting engineers and trades on siteBasic room repairs
Also may involve moving stock around on site using site vehicleFork-lift available to use (for FLT qualified)Ad-hoc maintenance duties 

Handyperson Requirements:
To have maintenance and handyperson experienceValid driving license
Also willing and able to secure a FLT license (arranged by the client) due to stock movement requirements
Applicants are expected to have several years prior experience some of which will have been in a similar role and have good customer skills.
It is essential staff are self-motivated and promote a “Can do” customer attitude at all times.
Ability and desire to complete general fabric maintenance tasks
Operate all systems within the building in a competent, effective and efficient manner, adhering to relevant guidelines and bulletins.
