Overall Purpose of the Role:

The main focus of this role will be the promotion and sales of the CTHC Biosimilar and Biologic product range and supporting services in Midlands and East of England. The Key Account Manager will be a field based role in Midlands and East of England.


Accountability:

  • To develop and implement business plans and strategies for identified Key Accounts
  • Work with and influence all external stakeholders in defined regions / accounts; HCPs, Pharmacists and Budget Holders to drive sales and profit of CTHC brands. Customer base includes all relevant local and regional payer and provider organisations and individual customers.
  • Key Activities are Sales-focussed, the role also includes local/regional market access work and at time may include leadership without authority of contract sales team colleagues.
  • Work cross-functionally with medical, marketing and management, to develop and implement strategies to secure and grow business in all key accounts.
  • To consistently communicate with all relevant personnel, on business objectives and provide detailed contact reports.
  • To work to set call rate guidelines as identified by management and associated activity reporting via the CTHC CRM system.
  • To achieve targeted sales for all products as directed by management.


Work Experience Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrate good business acumen
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record in pharmaceutical/Healthcare sales
  • Ideally experience in Biosimilars and or Biologics sales
  • Team player
  • Good verbal, numerical and negotiating skills
  • ABPI accreditation
  • Clinical/technical background in pharmaceutical or equivalent
